Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups milk
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 cup melted butter, margarine, or oil
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. In separate bowl, combine egg yolks and milk until well blended.
- With electric mixer, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Pour egg/milk mixture into flour and beat just enough to moisten.
- Stir in slightly cooled melted butter. Fold in egg whites, leaving little clumps of the white.
- Pour into waffle iron and bake to perfection!
